Coddington Road Community Center would like to extend a big thank you to the Cornell Public Service Center and our POST volunteers. The Pre-Orientation Service Trips (POST) program at Cornell University gives incoming first year students the opportunity to explore the community, develop new connections and start new friendships. This is accomplished through one week of volunteering at local community organizations in Tompkins County. On Tuesday, August 14th, the Coddington Road Community Center was one of those volunteer sites.
We had a wonderful group of volunteers who worked tirelessly all day long to help us improve the overall appearance and safety of Coddington. Projects included a property cleanup, spreading mulch on our playgrounds, trash removal and the development of a new outdoor play space for our Cub Classroom. We thank our volunteers and team leaders for their hard work, dedication and support.
