To celebrate Artsy Thursday and Week of the Young Child, Mr. Rob has created a how-to drawing video. The Tiger Room enjoys reading the Pigeon books, written by Mo Willems, so join Rob as you learn how to draw the pigeon. Grab a pencil, crayon or marker and a piece of paper to draw along. Please share your completed project; we would love to see it!
Enjoying art at home with your child is a great way to not only explore creativity, but you can connect the experience with math and science skills if you explore mixing colors or making shapes. If you do an art project a day, you can create an Art Museum at Home! We recommend reading, The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) article titled “The Making of an Art Museum: A Preschool Project.”
