Is your teen interested in babysitting or developing their child care skills? The Red Cross Babysitter Training Class scheduled on November 4th 2023 at the Coddington Road Community Center is the perfect fit!
Training Class Objective: To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the important skills and knowledge necessary to responsibly and safely care for infants and children. This training will help participants learn how to develop their own babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe while babysitting, help children behave, learn the basics of child care, develop leadership skills and practice basic first aid. This training class is taught by a certified American Red Cross instructor and is recommended for youth aged 10 to 15.
Cost: $80 per person.
Registration is not complete until payment is received and spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Payment options are as follows:
- Mail check with completed registration form to 920 Coddington Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
- Pay in-person (cash/check) at the Coddington Road Community Center from 7:30am-5:30pm M-F.
- Register and pay online with a credit or debit card.
