There are many different ways to make your own face masks. The sock method is one of our favorites. It doesn’t require hard to find materials and it allows our children to practice their fine motor skills. The best part is seeing how excited and proud our children after making their own masks.
After cutting a sock mask, your child can customize theirs with fabric markers or paint. Has your family made face masks at home? We’d love to see them!
Supplies Needed: scissors, sock and filter (coffee filters or blue shop paper towels)
Instructions:
1. Cut the ends off the sock.
2. Cut half down the socks on each side, to create the ear loops.
3. Insert a filter.
4. Optional: decorate!
