The Family Reading Partnership is a non-profit community organization that promotes literacy.  There is a good chance that you have heard of one of the many programs or services this wonderful Ithaca non-profit organization provides.  Just a few of the many literacy programs offered by the Family Reading Partnership include:  At Home with Books, Books to Grow on, Kids’ Book Fest, Bright Red Bookshelf and Traveling Books.

The Coddington Road Community Center participates in the Traveling Book Program.  Every two weeks our volunteer reader Mark comes to read to our classrooms and he leaves us a stack full of books to enjoy in between his visits.
